Both of our birthdays were in September, so we wanted to have a wedding ceremony and reception in the same atmosphere as a birthday party, inviting lots of friends and creating an intimate atmosphere.
We visited several wedding venues in Minatomirai, but we were attracted by the warmth of the staff at the bridal fair and the homely atmosphere, and we were convinced that this venue would be able to fulfill our dreams to the fullest extent possible, so we decided on The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu.
Also, the location directly connected to the station was great.

I wanted to make the vows in front of my family, relatives, and friends who have taken care of me up until now.
We also thought up some ways to create laughter so that the wedding could be enjoyed in a way that was true to ourselves.
We also wondered if our friends could help us with some of the words of our vows, so we were able to say them in front of everyone in completely original words.
I was very nervous when I entered, but it was good to be able to make my vows in front of all the people I care about.
After it was over, the planner said to me, "I've never heard such a big round of applause," and it made me very happy.

The things we focused on were the paper items and videos (opening and self-introduction) that we created from scratch.
The fact that the place cards could be turned into stickers to use as name cards was very well received by our guests.
I wanted my wedding cake to be a birthday cake, so I asked a pastry chef to make a really cute birthday cake for me.
We were also captivated by Cafe Pourtois which we saw at the tasting event and incorporated it into our actual wedding reception.
On the day, the groom served food to the guests, and with the help of the staff, it was a very exciting event, so it was a good move.

I attended two tasting sessions and found all the dishes to be delicious and I could sense the care that went into making them.
I was confident that I could not go wrong with any menu item at The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu cuisine so I chose the seasonal recommended menu that day.
Although the food was not sampled in advance, it was well received by the attendees.
I was happy to receive feedback from my friends, such as "That was delicious" and "This was great."

I am so glad that I chose The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu for this important day of my life.
Everyone from the planner, hotel staff, photographer, and emcee, who listened to our requests and supported us until the very end, was very kind and I felt that they all worked as a team to make the wedding and reception happen.
On the day, we received a lot of feedback from our guests saying that they had a really good time, and we felt that we were able to create the fun wedding and reception that we had aimed for.
It was a pleasure to visit The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu for each meeting, and it has become a memorable place for my husband and I.
I would like to continue using the restaurant and staying at this hotel for special occasions such as anniversaries.

Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event, so I want you to enjoy it to the fullest so that you don't have any regrets.
You may have many concerns, but the planners and staff at The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu are very kind.
It's sure to be an absolutely wonderful day.
I hope it will be a wonderful day for you all.
